What decorations are included ? Can we decorate ?
We will work with all requests to make your event unique. We do not allow nails or screws to be used into the barn wood. The permanent items in the barn are included - Other items maybe available for rental. We provide the tent, tables, chairs and all the tent lighting for you.
How many people can your barn seat?
Our barn is a two story layout. The Loft in our barn can seat 125-140 comfortably for your ceremony. We can accommodate up to 250 for the reception.
Do you allow candles ?
Because of the age and wooden construction of the barn we do not allow candles to be used. We have found LED candles to be very realistic for decorations / table settings.
What about restrooms ?
At this time we do not have facilities in the barn. We have worked with Kerkstra services to provide Restroom Trailers or portable units for our events. Please let us know ahead of time if any guests will need handicap accessiblility so we can have the proper facilities on site for your event. Please visit the Kerkstra website to see their trailers.
We allow alcohol to be served by licensed (By the State of Michigan Liquor Control Commission) & insured catering professionals only. All caterers must be approved 30 days before the event. We require copy of insurance certificate to be on file.
